Has your 5-14 year old daughter, niece, cousin or friend always wanted to play junior cricket but didn't want to start playing without first learning the basics?
Cricket NSW, supported through Cricket Australia's Growing Cricket For Girls Fund, are offering a FREE 4 x week Learn to Play course, to teach participants the basic skills, terminologies and movements of cricket to prepare any interested girls for the 2023/24 local girls' competition.
Details:
Start Date - 30 August 2023
Location - Norm O'Neill Cricket Training Centre (indoors)
Time - 4:30pm-5:30pm
Facilitators - Cricket NSW & St George-Sutherland Slayers Womens Cricket Club
End Date - 20 September 2023
Players only need to bring a water bottle and be wearing active wear and runners. Playing equipment to be provided.
Once players complete the course, players will have the confidence and ability to play Competition Cricket Blast Games in St George or Sutherland or sign up for the local St George-Sutherland Girls Junior Cricket Competition.
