About Our Cricket Association
Established in 1898 as the then St George Cricket Associations, the now named St George District Cricket Association, has been providing cricket to the residents of the Georges River and Bayside Local Government Areas for 125 years.
We provide programs and competitions for people of all ages and abilities, starting with the entry level program of Woolworths Cricket Blast run on weekdays and on Saturday mornings across the region.
The StGDCA administers the local U11 & U13 Junior Cricket Competitions. The U15 & U17 competitions operate as joint-venture competitions with the CWSCA and BDCA.
Our senior players compete in a joint-venture competition with MPSECA. The competition comprises of 7 different grades and over 40 teams.
We are proud to be one of the leading Associations in NSW, with a rich and proud history. Our Association contributes teams to the NSW Youth Championships and provide a steppingstone to higher honours with numerous international and state cricket players coming through our Association - including recent players such as Moises Henriques, Trent Copeland and Kurtis Patterson.
